She got bored waiting tables, and went back to school to become registered nurse. She moved to Southern California after she graduated high school in an effort to become an actress. She made a goal that she would be a published author, just like the ones that she read. She read nothing but romance while in high school. The first romance book that she ever read was the book that got her interested in the genre. She has two sons, whom she is raising in Southern California. She says that this has given her a lot of hilarious material for her work, and that it is due to life being a lot better than fiction.
